Mental Health Resources
To support UA Local 32 members in accessing stress, anxiety, and depression management resources, the Trust offers many behavioral health programs and resources.
Support for Local 32 Members
Behavioral health care can make a huge impact on your overall wellbeing and can be just as important as maintaining and caring for your physical health. All active and retired Local 32 members and eligible covered family members have access to the First Choice Employee Assistance Program, as well as several Plan specific mental health resources.
First Choice Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
An EAP gives you access to mental health support and life management resources to help you and your family during times of stress, anxiety and depression. This confidential service is offered at no cost to all Local 32 members and covered dependents and is part of your Trust benefit plan.
The Trust has contracted with First Choice to provide the EAP. Asking for help and managing life stress can be hard. That’s why we offer Local 32 members help with a wide range of services, including:
-
Access to licensed mental health counselors, psychologists, clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists and chemical dependency professionals
-

-
Free legal or financial consultation
-
Alcohol/drug, gambling and addiction management services
-

-

With the First Choice EAP you can get up to three sessions per issue every 12 months for you, your spouse, and each eligible dependent up to age 26. First Choice can also connect you with ongoing care and help you make appointments and find the right services or online resources for you.
