Wellbeing goes beyond your annual trip to the doctor. To support you in feeling your best, the Seattle Area Plumbing & Pipefitting Industry Health Trust offers access to a variety of wellness programs and services.

Supporting Your Health
From getting stress and mental health support to quitting tobacco or working with your very own health coach, the Trust offers UA 32 members access to wellness programs at no cost to you. Click the tabs below to learn more about the programs offered to you as part of your benefits.

Vera Health Coaching
Vera Whole Health is not your typical clinic, and as part of their holistic offering they provide no-cost confidential health coaching to all PPO plan participants and eligible dependents.
Your health coach can help you make small but impactful lifestyle changes. They know that adjusting your diet or routine can be hard and are there to help you find solutions that work for you. Your coach will take the time needed to understand your situation and will act as a partner in your health journey.

First Choice Employee Assistance Program
An EAP gives you access to mental health support and life management resources to help you and your family during times of stress, anxiety and depression. This confidential service is offered at no cost to all Local 32 members and is part of your Trust benefits.
The Trust has contracted with First Choice to provide the EAP. First Choice knows that asking for help and managing life stress can be hard. That’s why they offer Local 32 members help with a wide range of services, including:
Access to licensed mental health counselors, psychologists, clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists and chemical dependency professionals
Help with stress, depression, anxiety, relationships, and family concerns
Free legal or financial consultation
Alcohol/drug, gambling and addiction management services
Crisis management
Grief and loss groups and services
Work conflict support
With first choice you can get up to three sessions per issue every 12 months for you, your spouse, and each eligible dependent up to age 26. First choice can also connect you with more ongoing care and help you with making appointments and finding the right services or online resources for you.

To get connected call First Choice at (800) 777-4114 and follow the prompts for the types of service you’re looking for—or if immediate and crisis help is needed, please select 0. Mental Health Support
The Trust offers both PPO and Kaiser plan participants access to many mental health resources, along with the First Choice EAP.
